Take a look at this 1950 Sears Bicycle for sale by Bruce Gideon:
Hello
I have a 1930’s Silver King and a 1950’s Sears bicycle I would like to sell (they were my dad’s).
I have pictures of both and was wondering, if I sent you the pictures, would you be able to give me an idea of a fair selling price? I truly do not want to take advantage of potential buyers by asking more than they are worth but also do not want to be taken advantage of. I am looking for someone who could look at the pictures and give me some idea of price without going into any detailed research efforts. I did not want to presume upon you, so I would just forward the pics in another email if you were willing to look at them.
…
Here are some pics of the Silver King. It’s certainly not all original, so it has been hard for me to figure out how much I should ask. As I mentioned before, I am not out to make a killing on either bike. We are getting ready to move my mother into assisted living, and so we must clean out her house to get it ready to sell. I would like to get the bikes into someone’s hands who would enjoy them.
Thanks. Bruce Gideon
