Here is my 1937 Hawthorne Zep.
In 1936, Hawthorne came out with their Zep Model. At that time, the Hawthorne Zep was the most popular bicycle. These bikes are very rare in our time.
I happened to come across a 1937 Hawthorne Zep in this antique shop in Boulder Colorado. My girlfriend said “You kidding me – that thing is a piece of junk”, well I bought it.
Here are some “before and after” pictures. For now, I only did a little paint work, until I have the time to get into it.
