Monark Silver King Model 4100 model year?« Back to Previous Page

Looking for some help to identify the year of my Monark Silver King Model 4100, serial number A1029713. Thanks for the help.

Hi, thanks for the additional photos. Its very hard to know exactly the model and year without looking in a Monark catalog. The style does closely resemble this 1952 Monark Silver King Rocket. Since these bikes can easily sell for at least $1000 in good condition, it would be well worth your money to purchase a catalog. Here’s the listing though:

Monark Silver King manufactured excellent quality bicycles from the mid 1930’s to the 1960’s and many of those bikes are still around today. Two of their more popular lines were the Flocycle and the Wingbar. Bikes made by this company are either Monark or Silver King but not both. Some models have sold on ebay for as high as $7,000. In order to identify the exact year of this model, you will need a Monark and/or Silver King catalog. ALUMINUM BICYCLE shown in the photo is listed on ebay for $7600.
